sold phone to another person

sold phone to another person for a trade/towards other computer services. I have accidentally activation locked the phone. How can I reset the code(s) so the new rightful owner will be able to activate it and remove the activation lock?

You need to remove the device from your Apple ID after erase which you have sold to another owener.

You may remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.


An example of my iPhone 5 is given in the GIF below. There is no "Undo" after you remove it from your account.
