FaceTime and other video calls with an external lightning microphone

Hi! Recently I've purchased a wireless microphone that has a receiver with a lightning port for the iPhone or iPad.

The microphone works perfectly when recording videos and making voice memos, but whenever I make a video call, the iPhone switches to an internal microphone. There is no option to switch mic input either in control center nor in FaceTime or Zoom apps.

Is there any way to switch it?

I'm using iPhone 13 with iOS 16.
