Some Messages not Coming Through on new iPad Pro

Hi,

I have a new iPad pro and transferred all settings across from the old one. My messages would always go to my iPhone, iPad and MacBook.


Since setting up my new iPad Pro some messages those from banks, Microsoft etc were sending verification codes etc are not coming through on my iPad Pro. But are on iPhone and MacBook.


Any ideas?

If both iPad and iPhone are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID - to send SMS/MMS messages (green bubbles) from your iPad you must explicitly enable/verify that Text Message Forwarding is enabled for your iPad on your iPhone. After transferring to a new iPhone, this setting is likely to require reset.


On your iPhone:

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to ON - and explicitly enable your iPad from the list of devices.


Also ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to ON
