Set up our new MacBook Air and there is an aggressive looking Owl that stares out at us from the screen. How can we eliminate that Owl? We find it offensive.

Hey! We set up our new MacBook Air and, when we turn it on, there is the face of an owl scowling at us from the screen. We'd like to remove or replace it with an image of our own, but not sure how to get it done. We think the owl face is offensive. Any suggestions?

MacBook Air, macOS 12.6

You must have inadvertently chosen that as your sign in picture. Go to System Preferences (or Settings depending on your OS version) > Users & Groups < click on lock and input your password > and click on the (owl) pic "edit". Pick a different picture.
