Hey! We set up our new MacBook Air and, when we turn it on, there is the face of an owl scowling at us from the screen. We'd like to remove or replace it with an image of our own, but not sure how to get it done. We think the owl face is offensive. Any suggestions?

You must have inadvertently chosen that as your sign in picture. Go to System Preferences (or Settings depending on your OS version) > Users & Groups < click on lock and input your password > and click on the (owl) pic "edit". Pick a different picture.

No. We didn’t choose it. It came with the MacBook Air.
Thank you for sharing this. I called apple and two tech support people didn't know how to change it. One said it can't be changed. I'm glad we were able to change it. I appreciate the help. :)
