Downgrading from iOS 16 to 15

Hi all

There must be a safe way to downgrade, my iPhone 12 mini (2 years old phone) isn’t doing great with the new iOS, battery drains so fast even after configuring all the battery saving settings!

We should have this simple capability if an iOS isn’t working well with one’s device.

I couldn’t find 15.7 on IPSW, so I need a trusted image or a safe way to downgrade, not having this option is a real disappointment!

All rechargeable batteries are consumable components that become less effective as they chemically age.

Recent software updates can accelerate that process by adding features that consume more power.

As lithium-ion batteries chemically age, the amount of charge they can hold diminishes, resulting in shorter amounts of time before a device needs to be recharged.

Apple won’t replace the battery until it reaches 80% capacity.

Hi Katana

Battery’s health is 86%

it was doing great up to iOS15.7, its on 16.0.2 now and battery drains significantly faster

there are some articles and videos about using recovery mode to restore the phone to an earlier release? Does that downgrade it up to the last used iOS? Or I’m wondering if the issue is addresses in 16.0.3?
