Is text available for crash detection instead of calling/speaking? I'm deaf - emergency satellite has text, why not the same for crash detection as well?

Vibration Alerts for Non-Native Apps Hello, I'm Deaf, so I use the iPhone's (current model is iPhone 13 Pro) vibration alerts to alert me of incoming messages and texts. I have several non-native apps on my iPhone, such as Wyze, Proton Mail, and Watch Duty, and none of them have a vibration option. How do I turn on and customize the vibration alerts for non-native apps? Doesn't Apple permit non-native apps to use the iPhone's built-in vibration alerts? It is very important to me as a Deaf user that I be alerted to incoming messages and texts from the non-native apps, especially for emergency alerts from local authorities. I need to be able to customize the vibration options so that I can use my Deaf equipment with the iPhone (ex. I have Deaf equipment that allows me to set my iPhone on it and when the iPhone vibrates, it flashes my Deaf lamp and shakes my bed, waking me up when there is an emergency). CarPlay has hearing issues Since the release of IOS 16.2, both our iPhone 14 Pros, when using CarPlay in either our Mazda or Lexus, Siri appears to have gone deaf during certain operations. TEXT Cutoff: When starting a verbal text message, the first word appears to be getting cut-off from the message. So now you have to wait a few seconds before starting to speak for the first word to be picked up. SEND: After finishing the message, normally saying SEND to the request to send is not picked up by Siri. You must YELL SEND for it to maybe receive the input. You can use your cars controls to select send, but you really have to YELL for the response system to receive it. This happens with iPhone 14 Pros, both running IOS 16.2. One is connected to a Mazda CX-9 and the other is a Lexus NX300. Both cars have the same problem. I've also noticed that I seem to lose FM radio audio when connecting with CarPlay and I must exit CarPlay, reselect the radio station, and then return to CarPlay mode. As this is happening in two different environments, it cannot be just a coincidence. Anyone aware of bugs reported or fixes on the way?

So this isn't actually a live caption service on iphone? I wish Apple understood that just because you are deaf/HH doesn't mean that you are mute. I lost my hearing, but it happened later in life so I can talk perfectly fine. Need live caption calls like Google Pixel phones have been doing for years! I would love to come back to Apple. However, that likely won't happen if they can't catch up with Google in regards to accessibility. :(

Please read the details in the link above. It refers to crash detection. While text is not available, if you’re unable to respond, your device automatically calls emergency services after a 20-second delay. If you've added emergency contacts, your device sends a message to share your location and let them know that you've been in a severe car crash.

It seems you will be covered in an emergency. Please let us know if you have any other concerns.

Why should able-bodied (hearing) users be able to interact with responders verbally while a deaf person can't? I understand they will come out automatically but I want to text to have a rapport while they are on the way.
