Hi so my MacBook was recently stolen and I have Apple Care. Does that help with getting a replacement?

No... Apple will be more than happy to help you set up a replacement Mac, but as far as compensation for loss or theft that is not AppleCare's purpose.

If you have homeowner's or renter's insurance polices that cover loss, damage or theft, they may offer some amount of compensation, always subject to a deductible though.
