I have no SIM card installed on my iPhone 5c and yet it still searches for a network. I cannot activate the iPhone through the iPhone nor through iTunes. Buying a newer one is not an option, I already have one.
The phone is also water damaged, so maybe that's the problem? Will I need to replace the SIM slot unit?
