Is my phone covered for screen scratches

As stated, cosmetic damage is not covered (not buy the 1 year warranty or AppleCare+). You may want to get a screen protector (even super cheap ones work….I buy the 6 pack on Amazon for less than $10 and every iPhone I have owned still looked new once I was ready to sell it) to avoid further issues. If the scratches bother you enough you would have to pay out of pocket to replace the screen.

You cannot get a replacement for cosmetic damages.
