How to copy and paste all safari URLs as text not imbedded links

When I use the copy links function in safari it successfully copies all the links but when I paste it into a text editor it just has the page titles. When I pasted into the notes app the text is just the page titles but it links to the actual page. When pasted into google docs it just contains the titles, there is no imbedded link. The safari function used to just copy the website adresses as text but it doesn’t do that anymore. Is there a way to do it so it only pastes URLs as text.

Greetings Gorfware,

Most applications will format the URL as a hyperlink automatically, and the app would need a setting to disable the feature.

For example, Pages for iOS will allow you to select the pasted URL, and then select the option to remove the link. After selecting the option to remove the link, the website address will just be the text as it seems you wish to have.

Check out those steps here: Link to a webpage, email, phone number, or page in Pages on iPhone - Apple Support

" Edit or Remove a Link:

  1. Tap the linked text or the link button on the linked object.
  2. If the link is in a table cell, tap the table cell first, then tap the link button.
  3. In the link editor, tap Link Settings.
  4. Make your changes or tap Remove Link.
  5. When you remove a link, the link text is retained but the link formatting is removed and the link is no longer active.
  6. When you’re done, tap the document to close the controls."
