iPhone 14 Pro Signal Issues

I have an iPhone 14Pro and the signal is not as good as my iPhone 12 that I use for another line. I have noticed this in several states and almost all locations. Any suggestions?

My iPhone 14 max pro has virtually no reception in my house. We have 3 other 5g iPhones in the house (12, 13 pro, and 13 pro max) all of which have a strong signal and no dropped call issues.

I

The 14 also seems to have issues with Wi-Fi calls too, so I’ve had to revert to zoom calls on my laptop. My cellular provider is Verizon

After a clean reset Ive just install app that was necessary to setup my esim. When this was done and working fine I did reset again without removing esim and backup everything from icloud. I guess backup didnt overwrite new esim, which was causing trouble. Now I have both in 5g auto mode and i never went down under „3 bars” after all that.

I jumped from 11 pro to 14 pro and maybe this is why first backup with „old” esim was problematic. From 4G to 5G on both network providers.

I’ve been having a similar problem with my iPhone 14 Pro. I have very poor reception within the city of Vancouver. People can’t hear me very well and even the Apple people when I call Support I’m breaking up. The iPhone 14 has been out for a while and so I’m thinking that some of these issues should’ve been ironed out between the iPhone 14 Pro and my carrier, Telus talking to each other”. One of the people on here have been suggesting that this needs to get ironed out. Well I’ve gone to my provider many times and nothing gets ironed out. My iPhone 6 worked perfectly in terms of reception, but my iPhone 14 pro has been terrible. I hear you say it’s my carriers problem. My phone should be fine within the city limits of Vancouver British Columbia my carrier and they leave it at that. In the meantime, I’ve got a phone that has poor reception. Apple gave me a new one because they said perhaps my phone is a problem. So my new iPhone 14 Pro has the same problem. These phones aren’t cheap. They should work as a phone and have good reception - reception shouldn’t be getting worse as they go up from an iPhone 6 to a 14. But perhaps they’re just focussing on the computer part of the phone not the phones reception.

Frankly, carriers don't really care as long as most of their customers don't complain.

I've explained why this can occur in the past, and it all has to do with the congestion on the towers in question and whether the towers are optimized for the frequencies they assign you to.

It's not an iPhone issue, it's your carrier.

Same phone model, same problem. I tried contacting my cell carrier. They just kept telling me to restart my phone (like every troubleshooting suggestion webpage) and said that according to their estimates, I was actually getting great signal the whole time. It was all in my head that I am getting 2G-3G speed tops in a major city and can barely load a YouTube short in 5 minutes of buffering.

long story short, contacting my carrier didn’t help. But it made it easier to drop them. So I got that going for me.
