I have an iPhone 14Pro and the signal is not as good as my iPhone 12 that I use for another line. I have noticed this in several states and almost all locations. Any suggestions?

My iPhone 14 max pro has virtually no reception in my house. We have 3 other 5g iPhones in the house (12, 13 pro, and 13 pro max) all of which have a strong signal and no dropped call issues.

The 14 also seems to have issues with Wi-Fi calls too, so I’ve had to revert to zoom calls on my laptop. My cellular provider is Verizon
I agree. I switched the iPhone 13 out with the 14 pro and it’s almost unbearable. I can hear anybody on the other end of the phone.
Your complaint has nothing to do with this thread.
This is an Apple problem as it is causing many people to switch to android because of the much better reception and faster speeds.
This worked for me, thank you. Wish I could use the phone the way it was intended (with 5G); hopefully apple comes out with an update to address this soon.
There's nothing wrong with the phone.
If you go to another area so it uses another tower, odds are it will work just fine.
Call your cellular carrier and complain.
If you have just updated to your new phone, wait as it can take several hours for your photos to download to your new device, even over Wi-Fi.
I had to use LTE, the 5G reception/signal where I am located is horrible. The LTE connection/reception is horrible compared to iPhone 12
My reception/cell service on my 12 pro max was way better than my current 14. I'm making the assumption because I'm dealing with the assumption.
Can you tell me which service provider offers the best experience for the iPhone 14 pro if Verizon is the worst option which provider is superior
Go to Settings/Cellular/Cellular Data Options and set Voice & Data to 5G auto. If that doesn’t fix it go back and set it to LTE; perhaps 5G in your area is weak.
signal is too bad for my iPhone 14 pro max. In the same ski resort my 6s plus signal is very good, but 14 no signals anywhere any time. So it’s useless!

This is so disappointing! If I would have known I wouldn’t have bought the Iphone 14 pro. Need to make people aware of this. i will inform my friends who are thinking of buying a new phone.
I’m in Perth Western Australia and I have the same problem. At times the will pick up 3 or 4G but if I restart it, it goes straight to 5G
Correct - it will use the frequency that provides the best performance and will drop out of frequencies if told to by the cellular base station controller at the tower.
