How can I get all of my contacts synced to bring them back to my phone

Contacts are generally synced from either iCloud or an email account. If yours are missing unexpectedly and you recently removed an email address, its likely they were tied to that account.


You can check what accounts are currently syncing contacts under Settings > Contacts > Accounts. Tap on your account and ensure Contacts is toggled on, or you can add an account to see if your contacts synced through there. Bear in mind it may take a few minutes for contacts to update if you just toggle them on or add an account.
