iphone 13 pro max not charging while in sleep mode

This week my iphone has stopped charging while in sleep mode over night. It will stay at 52% or 49%, whatever my battery was at when I plugged it in for the night. I would wake up and it will have dropped a couple of percentages but not fully charged. What do I do?

iphone 13 pro loses charge overnight I usually put my phone on charge overnight when it's below 50%. In the past couple of weeks it's been about 65% when I go to bed but when I get up it's completely dead. Any ideas why? I have updated all apps and software, closed all apps, and don't leave it on for music or anything at all for that matter. Thanks in advance for any answers.

There are several things to try:

Make sure all the connections are secure
Try plugging into a different outlet
Try using a different adapter
