I have a problem with my copy of Safari 16.0. Can I delete it and install new?

My copy of Safari seems to be corrupted /faulty.

Can I delete it and download a fresh copy to install?

Download reinstall Safari 15.6.1 I used software update to install Safari 15.6.1. I think there might have been a problem with the installation process. How can I reinstall this version, which now does not show up in software update? Safari is too often running very slowly loading a page despite Internet speed at 340 mbps. Delete Safari - Not possible

You maybe able to roll back to earlier version using your trusty Time Machine Backup to a Time before Safari 16 was installed
