Can u get IOS16 for iPhone 7 Plus?

Trying to transfer phone number to new iPhone but must have ios16 on previous phone.

Hello and welcome to the community 🤗

Unfortunately the iPhone 7 is not compatible with iOS 16 or later. So you can’t have iOS 16 on your iPhone.
