Activation status

Activation status on coverage.apple.com and apple support app is different.


what is the reason for that.

Website checkcoverage.apple is show phone is not activated while same serial number on Apple support app is showing that warranty is expiring on 29-Match-23. Why there is difference and which is correct?

If you have conflicting information about your warranty, make sure you are using the correct Apple ID and follow Find information about your warranty or AppleCare plan:


  1. "Go to checkcoverage.apple.com
  2. Enter the serial number of the device.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions.


You can also go to mysupport.apple.com to find out if your device is covered. Sign in with your Apple ID, then choose your device. Learn what to do if the information is incorrect or you don't see your AppleCare plan."


If you still have conflicting information, Contact Apple Support or use this Get Support link for hardware warranties so Apple can take a look.
