Is this normal?
After 10mins my iMac's fan will become very noisy and won't deter. Is this normal for 27' iMac 2019 models, running v12.6?

Or maybe you have some other third party software installed which is interfering with the normal operation of macOS. Anti-virus apps, cleaning apps, and third party security software are notorious for causing performance issues on a Mac. Chromium based browsers such as Google Chrome tend to hog CPU & memory resources as well. You can try booting into Safe Mode to see if you have the same issue since Safe Mode prevents third party software from launching automatically during boot & login, but some software & devices may not be usable in Safe Mode because of some parts of the apps not being loaded during boot.
Semi Normal when using the Memory / CPU Hungry Hog from Google Chrome.
Alternative without the Over Head of Google Chrome could be www.brave.com
Plus, Brave is not so prone to Harvest the User Data and repackage it for Sale to the Highest Bidders
