Apple Watch, Series 3, Internet Connection when Pairing
Hi there, I have been trying to pair/connect my Apple Watch (Series 3) to my new phone (13 Pro Max), but have been unsuccessful. Once the phone almost finishes downloading the OS 8.7.1. update to the watch, I get an alert that says there is no internet connection (even though I do have a connection). I have tried 2 internet connections, my home and work, thinking this would help.
I have also tried:
...turning both the phone and watch on and off
...resetting the network settings on the phone, resetting the watch
... tried pairing from scratch multiple times
...deleted and redownloaded the Watch app
... closed and disconnected all the apps in the background
...disabled other bluetooth devices
... tried turning the airplane mode on and off, in addition to turning on and off after restarting the phone
Anyone else have this issue recently? Any insight in appreciated!
