If my iPhone battery goes dead, do I lose my data? If not, how long will it be okay?

Your data is stored in the iCloud so as long as you have your iPhone set to automatically backup, your data should be fine. I’m not sure how long you can leave an iPhone battery uncharged without damage. Hopefully someone else here will answer.
