16.0.3 update causes Siri to stop functioning?

Did the 16.0.3 update. Ask Siri anything and it hesitates "working on it" then "something went wrong try later."

Did a iPhone restart, turned Siri on and off.

I contacted Apple support and we determined that I would nuke and pave the iPhone on Monday after a weekend road trip. After 6 hours with it plugged into Apple CarPlay the issue seems to have resolved itself.
