I deactivated my husband's apple id account because he doesn't like apple products. Anyway, I want to have my account as the default. How do I accomplish this?

Hello adinakay,

To change the Apple ID you're currently using on your device just go to Settings > your name at the top (on an iOS device) or System Preferences > your name at the top (on a Mac) then select Sign Out. After you've signed out of the old Apple ID, sign into the one you want to start using on the device.

Sign in with your Apple ID

Cheers!
