My Macbook Air died but wont charge

I have a 2013 MacBook Air 11" laptop. The battery died but when I went to plug it in, it won't charge! I replaced the power adapter but that didn't do anything. can anyone help me? I've tried looking on the internet, but nothing seems to help.

Read and follow all these steps: If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support, all the way through to the end. Step 6 is the one most likely to help.

If the battery has failed completely and stubbornly refuses to charge, then it will need to be replaced. Make an appointment to have your Mac, its power adapter and cable evaluated by Apple, because one or more of them isn't working the way it should. Start here: Get Support.
