Recently purchased a new iPad Air 5 and have upgraded it to iPad OS 15.7.
I'm not getting notifications in the App Store when updates are available. I've tried turning notifications off, back on, rebooting, etc. I have checked a few random apps and there are updated versions available. In the Account option in App Store, the slider is green for New Features & Updates.
Anyone else having this issue? Any idea what's going on here?

In context of notifications, the App Store is generally very “quiet”. Visible notifications are generally restricted to a red numeric badge that will appear on the App Store App icon - for installed Apps for which an update is available - if your settings are set appropriately:
As such, many of the standard notification settings for the App Store are largely redundant. Allow Notifications and Badges are the principal settings to ensure are enabled.
App Store does not notify you if there is an update available for an app.
