I want the mail.app to view attachment as icons.

It should work for the former, but not the latter.
The " view as icon " is only available in Apple Mail for User initialed new e-mail being sent

In this one particularly Email it doesn't even show the actual text in the message. Only the attachment as a view, not icon.
Right click work only with emails that I want to send.
