Use the New apple tv and old apple tv controller?

If I buy a new apple tv that just came out, can I use to old Apple tv remote? I like the old remote much better. can I programm it to work with the brand new apple tv 4k?

If you are referring to the original Siri remote, yes it is compatible. You can refer to the article to manually pair.
