32 bit float audio clipping after export

I've recently purchased the Zoom F2 recorder.

I've edited on the timeline and made sure that the audio levels are under -6 most of the time. If there are sound effects, they reach up to -2.

When exporting and listening to it on my phone (preparing for a YouTube upload), the sound from the microphone is constantly clipping.

My export settings are:

Video Codec: H.264

Audio Format: AAC

.mov file

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Thank you!

Thanks for the response!

When I listen to it with QuickTime, there is no distortion. Similarly, I listened to it on my iPhone WITH studio headphones and there is also no distortion. The distortion is only when watching it from the speakers on the iphones (I tested with 2 different phones), or on the laptop directly on YouTube.

So I guess there is not much I can do. It's a minor distortion though, probably only editors and other content creators would notice.
