Lock Screen shuffle categories

Both my wife and I have identical hardware (iPhone 12 Pro max) and software (iOS 16.0.3) and have customized the Lock Screen to shuffle photos. My phone has four categories (People, Pets, Nature, Cities) and hers is missing "Pets". Our photo libraries are pretty similar.

Is there any way to get Pets on her shuffle category list?

TIA

Hi MacZonie,

The options should be the same based on your photo albums on the device. More info can be found here: Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen - Apple Support

If the category is missing, then we'd recommend restarting the device using the steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support that are below.

How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Best regards
