Hello, I want to ask can we distinguish between a real and a fake iPhone because a year before Turkey launched a copy of iPhone that was cheap and look identical to the iPhone 12 pro max. A lot of people were scammed because they cannot tell the difference between the original model and a Turkish model.
can any one guide me major difference?

Don’t buy from untrusted sellers, and don’t buy from any seller that has an easy way to disappear.
Auction sites and marketplace sales and off the backs of trucks are too often offering fraudulent or counterfeit products. Or stolen. Or locked. And with disappearing sellers.
Beyond counterfeit products, expect some sellers will offer legitimate iPhones with Activation Lock set. Locked iPhones which are forever useless.
Serial numbers… Serial numbers tell you nothing about the veracity product. Counterfeit manufacturers offering counterfeit products can counterfeit the serial number too, either guessed from known number patterns, or serial numbers copied directly from real devices…
