14 pro screen not responding to a touch sometimes

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 

(2)  If the above does not work then - Review the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If the screen isn’t working on your iPhone.

Your iPhone 14 Pro is still under Apple’s 1YR Limited Warranty (US) and I recommend that you take advantage of it. Have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.

I've restarted my phone twice today, and continue to have the same problem intermittently (where my 14 pro max doesn't respond to touch). The internet page will freeze, the app will fail to download, i can no longer edit an email, etc, etc...
