iPhone shortcut button on screen

Hey there!


I have this weird quirk and wondering if anyone can help me locate it. I've literally Googled every possible search-term combination I can think of and now pretty lost!


I've enabled this little assistive bubble thing for video playback control and unsure now how to remove it (I can't remember where I turned it on!). It is not the standard Assistive Touch thing that shows an array of options, this one shows playback controls.


I've attached a screenshot showing it in both open & closed stats, if that helps! 😊

We see you've accidentally enabled the option to speak screen on your iPhone. We'd be happy to help you remove this.


Here's more information about this Accessibility feature:

Hear iPhone speak the screen, selected text, and typing feedback - Apple Support

Disable it by:

  1. Going to Settings
  2. Accessibility
  3. Spoken Content
  4. Disable the Speak Screen switch.


As you can see in the screenshots included, this is the feature that is appearing for you.
