Aspect ratio bug with the ios16 update

Is anyone having a major bug issue with the Apple TV app?

When I rotate my phone sideways to view a movie, the picture ends up cut-off in the bottom left corner.

Upon rotating back up to normal use position it goes black and sends me to the Apple TV Home Screen.

All other apps I use like Netflix, YouTube and HBOmax are working properly.

Not one person could help me with this problem.

I reset my phone to factory settings and that fixed it.

Thanks for nothing.

No, just any movie through the Apple TV app. It will not go full screen sideways. Currently I’m only able to view them with the phone vertical.

When I rotate the phone sideways, you see, it opens up in the lower left corner all cut off. When I then raise it to upright it blacks out and starts me at the Apple TV home screen

Hey Trav88, when you accepted the terms of use here did you happen to notice that this is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. You are disparaging volunteers for not being able to help you. You also were a bit confusing in your original question I thought you were referring to a physical Apple TV box and you were streaming to it until you posted your screen shots. Glad you figured it out (I would have recommended a forced restart before a full restoring it). I never saw your question as I'm not here 24/7.
