Trying to synch my notes from old phone to new phone

If you are syncing your notes to iCloud, did you make sure, that in Settings/iCloud/Notes/ has been set to "ON"?

This should automatically sync your notes to your new device.

If, like most people, your notes are syncd to iCloud or another third party email account then they will be available to your new phone automatically if you use the same Apple ID or add the same email account

Just make sure Notes is turned on on those accounts
