Hey there mohammd50,

It sounds like you got the update started but it is not completing as expected or may be taking longer than you thought it would. There are a few factors that can play into this.

First, make sure you have a solid, continuous internet connection. An interruption to the connection could cause that error.

Connect your Apple Watch to power and make sure it stays plugged in.

Follow the steps in this resource, if the issue continues: Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support

"Try these steps:

  1. Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger
  2. Restart your Apple Watch.
  3. Restart your paired iPhone.
  4. Try again to update your Apple Watch.

If the update won't start:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Delete the update file.
  4. Try again to update your Apple Watch." (retrieved from resource linked above)

Take care.
