iTunes vs. EAC when ripping audio cds
I have used iTunes to rip since I got my first ipod (2005ish?) and hate that it has no ability to check the quality of the music from cds. I find myself needing to listen to every track to make sure it doesn't skip and reloading the songs that do. It takes more time than I am willing to put into it.
I have looked into other softwares to rip and Exact Audio Copy caught my eye because it will read the disk multiple times to make sure it is as exact as possible. my only concerns are the formats it can rip to and its security (the database that holds information on other people's rips of the same cd, while useful, got me a little worried about the safety of the software)
