Apple Watch won’t update after pairing

Hello, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max updated to IOS 16.3, I have Apple watch 3. I’m trying to pair it and update the watch, but it says I’m not connected to the internet even though I am. I’ve tried resetting my phone, and the watch. I’ve deleted the Watch app and redownloaded. I have also tried the steps below. Nothing seems to be working; the Watch was working a few days ago when it wasn’t paired.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 6

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, brig1456,

We understand you're having trouble updating your Apple Watch. We'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Try the steps outlined here: Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support

"Need more help with updating?

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger
  2. Restart your Apple Watch.
  3. Restart your paired iPhone.
  4. Try again to update your Apple Watch.

If the update won't start:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Delete the update file.
  4. Try again to update your Apple Watch.

Learn what to do if you see 'Cannot Install Update' when updating Apple Watch or if your Apple Watch says you need more available storage to install a watchOS update."

Regards.
