I have to pair my hearing aids to my iPhone 7 each time my phone goes to sleep mode. When I wake it up they show that they are pair but I cannot hear anything with my opticon more hearing aids until I forget this device and pair them again. Running 14.7
What can I do to keep sound for phone calls and media to my opticon more hearing aides without have to continually pair them?

With the latest updates to iOS 15.7.1 for iPhone 7 and disconnecting iwatch I can stay connected with my oticon more hearing aids.
The current iOS is 16.0.3. You can try that but I do not know if it will solve your issue. What version firmware is in your Oticon hearing aids? If it is 1.4.0 then my suggestion is to see your audiologist and have your aids put back on 1.3.0. iOS 16.1 is coming out next week and you may want to try iOS 16.1 before you see your audiologist.
After the recent updates in iOS and Oticon, my Oticon More are also disconnecting from my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Turning off bluetooth on my Apple Watch 8 Ultra and removing Oticon On had no impact. The interesting thing was I always show them connected in Accessibility. All I have to do is repower my aids and everything works again. Talk with your audiologist to see if they have any suggestions. Let us know if you find a solution.
update to iSO 15.6.1 still have same problem.
Thanks for the reply. Currently iPhone 7 only update is 15.7. I have only had the opticon more for 2 months. I updated yesterday and hopefully it will be better.
