A new Apple Watch was using my messaging?

I received a message stating that a new apple watch was using my messaging. I do not have a new

apple watch. Inadvertently deleted the message. What to do???

If you don't recognize this device, you can remove it in settings." When I go into settings I see no new devices, much less an Apple Watch. Receiving spam messages on my Apple Watch but not on my iPhone I received this spam message on my Watch 8, which updated to watchOS 11.5 yesterday, but it doesn't appear on my phone (iPhone 16, iOS 18.4.1). First time I've had this happen, I've had the watch 2 years, but phone was replaced last month - what gives? [Edited by Moderator]

phishing messages on Apple Watch only I have silence, unknown callers turned on my phone however, I will occasionally get a text message on my watch that does not show up on my phone. That text message is always some type of spam. I'm not sure what I can do about this.

Nothing is using your messages because that requires physical access to your device.

This is a scam!!

If you receive a suspicious email or SMS text message that looks like it's supposed to be from Apple, please email it to reportphishing@apple.com. 
