Safari address bar??

Safari address bar??

I'm very new to my iMac and need some help. I tried adding a URL to the Topsites page and in doing so I some how lost my address bar....I'm feeling really dumb right about now and I'm sure the fix is simple...I'm just unable to figure it out >.<
Can someone please help out this newb ?

Right click or control click at the top of the Safari window and choose "Customize Toolbar". A dropdown window will appear with various items that you can add to the toolbar. One is an address bar. drag it into place and click Done.
