The latest iOS 15.7 seems to have removed the option to enable/disable volume button controls operating based on the orientation of the device. I would prefer to have consistency in how these buttons operate. Any advice?

Dynamic volume controls were introduced with release of iPadOS 15.4 onwards. For reasons known only to Apple, the ability to either enable or disable this feature is not available for the iPad Air5 and iPad mini6.

As I just got reminded, very recently, for reasons only known to Apple, that fixed volume button feature does not exist on the iPad Air 5th gen or the 6th gen iPad Mini.
