I downloaded an app called true collar and I deleted the app right away cause I didn’t want it to take over my iPhone voicemail. Ever since then I have an unable to receive my voicemails through my iPhone visual voicemail. What should I do? I have tried doing everything that is suggested through Google I even reset my network settings. When I call my voicemail it is the voicemail from the truecaller app. I’ve tried to re-record my greeting on my iPhone voicemail and it does not play that voicemail. I have tried calling myself several times I have a home phone so I’ve been doing it through that and leaving voicemails and nothing is showing up. I’m not sure what to do I would really appreciate any advice on how to get this problem rectified. I was wondering if there is any way that I could go back to network settings and reset up my visual voicemail Without losing any of my information or apps or anything. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope get some sort of suggestion that can rectify the situation.

The only other place that apps can land a piece of software is Settings, general, VPN & Device Management or whatever the iOS15 equivaent is.

Check for and delete any profile you find there

Alternatively try a Forced restart

Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

If no better take the more extreme measures.

Backup, restore to factory, then restore from backup:-

If you can import your media to Photos or iTunes in a computer and copy important documents to a cloud server it will give you some resilience in case the restore from backup fails, or you need to ditch the backup and start as new.

(2)          Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

(3)          Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

If the problem remains then do step (2) again but set up as new without restoring any backup.

If it fixes it then it is probably a rogue app.
