How to know if AirPods Pro are original?

I want to buy AirPods pro but I don’t know if the serial number would give me the person if it is the original. How can I find if it is original

Serial numbers can be copied.

Apple doesn’t reveal the device owner name using a serial number.

Sales on auction sites and marketplaces can too often be fraudulent, or stolen, or counterfeit.

Vetting the seller is the path, as you’ll either want to consider the money to be throw-away if something goes wrong with the purchase, or want a path to return for refund if the purchase fails for some reason.

If you can’t afford to throw away the money, only buy from a reputable seller.

Auction site and marketplace site sellers routinely disappear.
