Latest update to 16.0.3

I updated my iPhone 11 Pro overnight. Now I don’t seem to get notifications on my phone but they come through on my watch. Before they sounded for text, phone, WhatsApp, emails, etc on both. I only seem to get them on my watch and not all the time, so have to regularly say throughout today. Any ideas? Thanks

Notifications not registering on iPhone Since yesterday, I have an issue with my iPhone XR (iOS 16) that is driving me mad. I no longer receive visual or sound alerts whenever I receive a notification from an app. I receive the notifications, but they just don’t alert me anymore (I have to tap on my screen to see that I’ve receive messages, for example). My Apple Watch alerts me, as do my iPad and my MacBook, but the iPhone just seems blissfully oblivious to notifications. I’ve not changed any settings on my iPhone and everything was working just fine before yesterday. I do not have any Focus setting on, I’m supposed to get notifications, even on the Lock Screen. I even turned notifications off, shut down my iPhone, turn it on again and switched on the notifications, but to no avail. I missed some important messages because of this issue. How can I fix that… besides signing off of iCloud or resetting my iPhone and start all over from scratch (which could be a bit… overkill)?

Notifications not working I made the mistake of upgrading to IOS 17. Total disaster. Notifications do not work. I went to the genius bar and they told me to wait for IOS 17.1. Did so, and still nothing. They said the only way to fix it is to wipe the phone (loose all data) and start again.... even then they don't know if it will fix it. Just awful. Iphone 12, Apple watch 10.

If they were sounding on both then something was wrong with your setup prior to updating. By design it is supposed to alert only on the Watch unless your iPhone is unlocked and you are using it.
