Set up new iPad Pro. Transferee every thing over from old iPad. Facebook messaged will not open. Just a white screen with the circle going round and round. It says I have messages but will not open. I also get the notifications. I have deleted and reinstalled and nothing seems to work! Help!!

Because it is a different app. The app for the Galaxy phone only works on Android and the one for the iPhone only works on iOS. If you deleted the app and have re-downloaded it and it still does not work correctly, you need to contact Meta Support for their app. They are going to have to fix it.

Maybe be a app problem since I recall other discussion in this forum for same problem.
I’m having the same issue. I’ve restarted, deleted and re-downloaded, done the same with the Facebook app. The messenger just will not load. Hours of the little circle. Tried with cellular, switched to wi-fi. NOTHING.
Same thing is happening to me on my iPad. Facebook messenger was not working. I deleted messenger and tried to re install it. The circle has been going around for an hour. Messenger works fine on my Galaxy phone.
