I can't save photos or videos sent to me in Facebook messenger.

I can't save photos or videos sent to me in Facebook messenger. The error message I get says "! Could not save" I tried the advice on this page given to another person with the same issue. But I couldn't find any such setting for "Read and write" for Facebook or Facebook messenger. I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I'm a TechTard, so unfortunately I don't know how to do very much where technology is concerned! Also I'm a visual learner with ADHD and a learning disability, so just reading instructions isn't very helpful for me unfortunately. So I'm wondering is there a video or picture instructions that I can follow to fix this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to say that I figured it out! I went into the privacy settings on my phone, then into photos it showed "allow photos access" There was three options

1. Selected photos 2. All photos 3. None,

I had option "1. Selected photos" selected. I changed it to option "2. All photos" then I tried saving the picture in Facebook messenger again and it worked! I guess I have to stop being afraid of screwing something up and just try things for myself! Because You just never know until You do try!
