How clean RAM on Mac

I have a MacBook Air 2015 with 4 go of RAM with Final Cut Pro. Final Cut Pro take RAM and I need more ram to use Final Cut Pro rapidly. When I use Final Cut Pro I have 0,5 go of ram free and I have just FCP,photos and Finder of open. I try a terminal to clean ram but this not work. I Also try to use memory diag but this not clean a lot of ram (I need more free ram) Its maybe beacause I am making à vidéo 8k and I use the 3D titles?


Question : how to clean ram.

You don't. The OS handles what is or isn't in RAM as efficiently as possible.


Your issue is 4 GB of RAM isn't enough to do much of anything but surf the web and send or receive emails. The apps you're trying to run require at least 8 GB of RAM to run well. 16 or better preferred.


Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the RAM on your Mac. The only choice is to get something newer and better configured for what you're trying to use if for.
