iPhone 11 running IOS16. When driving in my car with my phone connected via Bluetooth to my car and I try to use Siri to search the web Siri responds “sorry I can’t search the web on iPhone”. I have driving focus turned off. Please advise if you know a solution to this issue

Check what you have your Bluetooth set as for that device, if it is that as a car stereo, it will not let you search the web when you are using it you can change the name of it to be a headphone or something else and it will work
Had the same problem until now when I just changed the setting my Bluetooth menu to speaker instead of the name of my car Bluetooth device.
Thank goodness!! It was so frustrating that Siri couldn’t search the web on iPhone.
Bingo!!!! Thank you so much. you won't believe how much time I wasted with Apple support figuring this out and got no where. they wanted me to reset the network settings which I refused Then wipe the phone and restore and I didn't do it, Such a simple fix

I tried speaker, headphone, hearing aid and other. Got the same response from Siri regardless of the setting. As soon as I disconnected the Bluetooth Siri worked. Maybe it’s something to do with my car stereo??? I’m just not really sure what apple thinks this “feature” will protect me from.🤷

Well, that is the issue. Unfortunately, doing that disables Siri’s voice in navigation. Apple always makes changes nobody wants!
I just did it and it worked for me. I changed it from car stereo to speaker. 12-9-2022 🤷🏻
