will a screen protector affect face id

i Recently got an iPhone XS and I have a tempered glass screen protector that covers the notch, will the affect anything?

If I get my screen fixed then will it work My Face ID is not working my screen is cracked on my camera so if I get my screen fixed will Face ID work.

If Face ID works with the screen protector, you have your answer and it would be fine to use. If Face ID doesn't work, the screen protector covering the notch would likely not be a great option for your iPhone.
