Music downloaded from my cd grayed out some songs.

I have a cd and have added it to my Ipod touch and some of the song are grayed out and some are not. Question is I own the cd and why can I not play on my IPOD?

Try iTunes > Preferences > Devices > Reset Sync History and then try syncing once more.

If that hasn't helped try signing out of the iTunes Store on the device and then try again.

Otherwise see this post on erratic syncing.
