I read your policy or direction of Notes and passwords. Why can't we reset old notes password or why can't Apple assist with that? What is the logic behind that? Why I can't I put my iCloud information to recover it? There’s a lot of important personal information that need to be recovered.

If these were important why didn't you write down the password, or take a picture of it, or save it as a contacts.

Apple does not mention you can't reset forgotten passwords either so I would assume like every other system in world, you could reset it if you had back up information. The important note was where I saved all my passwords. I'd want to keep the password to all my password secret as well. I used face I.D to get in for the past two years, now it's asking me for a password. I thought I had put the same password as my iCloud password. My hint seems to lead in that direction, but it doesn't work. I'll just go and talk to an apple rep.
